Machine Screw Head Dimensions


Indented Hex & Hex Washer - ANSI B18.6.3 - 1998

An inexpensive wrench head fastener. Made to standard hexagon head dimensions. This head style has an indented top surface, with or without a flat washer which projects beyond the sides and provides a flat bearing surface. The washer and hex are formed together as one piece.
It offers greater protection to the mating surface than a standard indented hex head. Increased bearing surface reduces likelihood of crushing mating surfaces.
