Machine Screw Head Dimensions
Pan Head
The pan head is recommended for new designs and to replace round, truss, and binding heads. It provides a low, large diameter head, but typically has a high outer edge along the outer periphery of the head where driving action is most effective for high tightening torques. It also has a slightly different head contour with a recessed head. This table references ANSI B18.6.3
